The commencement date for Serie A 2024/25 has been finalized and announced. The Italian football season is all set to kickstart on August 17. The first halt is scheduled for three games into the season, which coincides with international fixtures.
It’s still nine games to the closure of the current season, but the plans for the forthcoming one are already being crafted. The announcement was made yesterday by Andrea Butti, the Head of Competitions of the Lega Serie A, during an interview with Telelombardia.
The 2024/25 championship will commence on August 17, initiating the run of domestic fixtures. The first pause in the season will occur on the weekend of September 5, facilitating European teams to participate in the Nations League competition.
