Federico Guidi, the coach of Roma’s Primavera team, shared his thoughts on the upcoming match against Empoli in a conversation with the club’s channels.

“The game against Empoli was a setback for us because the boys clearly deserved to win on the field,” said Guidi. “This gives us another reason to push harder in our game on Sunday. We want and need to regain the 3 points that are currently keeping us from topping the league.”

When asked about his expectations for the match, Guidi described it as potentially complex. “Empoli’s youth sector has been performing exceptionally well, making them tough competitors. The 2004, 2005, and 2006 age groups, who may have another year ahead in the youth sector, understand this well. The earlier they mature, the sooner they can get to experience top-tier soccer.”
